Team: Sarah van Coevorden

Co-creator: Nils de Vrijer

Company: Boombrush

Year: 2023

Concept

Boombrush offers a sustainable and high-quality sonic toothbrush designed for long-term use. The toothbrush aims to be eco-friendly by encouraging recycling and offering flexible subscription options for brush heads. Their goal is to provide a durable, efficient brushing experience with minimal environmental impact.

Impact

Boombrush aims to provide a lifetime toothbrush through subscriptions, repair services, and a recycling program, under the slogan: "Your last toothbrush ever." Beyond sustainability, they focus on inclusivity and celebrating everyone's smile, believing that a smile empowers you: “We are here to make you fresh, confident and positive for good.”

Role

At Boombrush, I stepped in as a UX designer for three months while their regular designer was unavailable. During this critical period leading up to their rebranding and website relaunch, I collaborated with developers, created final pages, and contributed to other key aspects of the launch to ensure a smooth and successful rollout.

Website

After rebranding Boombrush, much of the website had been designed. However, I took on the responsibility of finalizing the designs and working closely with both front-end and back-end developers to implement them. I also updated the designs based on input from developers and considering technical constraints.

Amazon storefront

With the introduction of the new brand, our online storefronts needed to match. Therefore, I updated our Amazon storefront to align with the new brand style and refreshed the product listings for our German market.

Bol.com listing

Additionally, to cater to our Dutch market, the product listing on bol.com was updated. These changes were crucial in maintaining brand consistency across all platforms and enhancing our online presence.

Packaging and flyer

I also updated the packaging and instruction flyers to reflect the new brand style. To stay true to Boombrush's commitment to sustainability, we used recycled paper for both the packaging and flyer.
