Team: Boris Jockin | Astrid ten Bosch | Frances den Ouden | Sarah van Coevorden

Collaboration: GRI | John Knights

Year: 2022

Challenge

Koos was asked by GRI to explore ways for how GRI might design new or improved services that better meet the needs of users and aspirations of our staff? This included understanding GRI service needs of users, understand service aspirations of GRI staff and designing new service concepts.

Approach

This project followed the double diamond approach with an Understand and Imagine phase. The understand phase included a service ecosystem exploration and user research. The imagine phase consisted of value proposition design and service concept design which were achieved through creative sessions with stakeholders.

Impact

The project resulted in insights into user needs and aspirations of staff, a new and improved value proposition and service concepts including roadmap.

Who are the users?

Through interviews and insights from GRI staff, we were able to identify different users, their needs, desires, goals and main obstacles.

Co-creation

Koos believes in co-creation. Therefore, a creative workshop was hosted together with staff from GRI to ideate on potential solutions and new value propositions. I was able to co-facilitate this workshop.

Concepts

Based on the ideas generated during the co-creation session as well as additional brainstorms, a variety of concepts were created to align with user’s needs. These were refined and presented to the team of GRI in combination with a roadmap for implementing them.
